The only way to remove ink from something and not have the item change color is to use plain old rubbing alcohol. No kidding! IT will even remove sharpie permanent marker. You can use it on leather, can soak clothing in it, can use it on walls, furniture, anything! It is the only product I have found that does not ruin what you want to get the ink off. Hairspray works sometimes, but then you’re stuck trying to get the sticky off…
